to disintergration and breakage by acid produced on
the tooth surface by bacteria.

Pain stimuli is transmitted
through microscopic tubules found dentin, Each tubule contains
a nerve fiber that penetrate the porous dentin.

Pulp Chamber
Terminating point of blood vessels and
nerve as they follow the path thru the Root Canal from
the Root Apex. Stimuli is
transmitted and received
by the pulp. |
Root
The root is that portion
of the tooth that is in the alveolar bone. It is covered
by a coat of material similar to bone called cemetum. |

Apex
The entrance point of
the nerve, blood vessels and connective tissue to the
Root Canal that terminates at Pulp Chamber. |
